Terms of Services

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Local Window's services. By submitting an inquiry, signing up as an advertiser, or partnering as a venue, you agree to these terms.

1. About Local Window 

Local Window operates a hyperlocal digital advertising network placing screens in neighborhood businesses in New Jersey. These terms govern your use of our website at localwindow.co and any services we provide.

2. Advertiser Terms

2.1 Eligibility 

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to conduct business to advertise with Local Window.

2.2 Ad Content Guidelines 

By submitting ad creative you confirm that:

- You own or have rights to all content submitted
- Your ad does not contain adult, explicit, or sexually suggestive content
- Your ad does not promote illegal products or services
- Your ad does not contain false or misleading claims
- Your ad does not target or appeal primarily to minors
- Your ad does not contain hate speech, discrimination, or offensive material

Local Window reserves the right to reject or remove any ad that violates these guidelines at our sole discretion without refund.

2.3 Pricing and Payment 

Advertising is sold at $30 per day per screen. Payment is due at time of booking. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for days already run. If a technical issue on our end prevents your ad from running we will credit those days to your account.

2.4 Ad Scheduling 

Once payment is received your ad will be scheduled to go live on your selected start date. You may update your ad creative through your dashboard at any time before or during your run. Local Window does not guarantee specific time slots within a day.

2.5 Performance 

Local Window provides monthly scan reports based on QR code engagement. These reports are provided as informational only. Local Window makes no guarantee of specific results, customer conversions, or return on investment from advertising with us.

3. Venue Partner Terms

3.1 Partnership Agreement 

By agreeing to host a Local Window screen you enter into a month to month partnership. Either party may terminate the partnership with 30 days written notice.

3.2 Venue Responsibilities 

As a venue partner you agree to:

Provide adequate wall space and access to power for screen installation
Allow Local Window staff reasonable access to the screen for maintenance
Not tamper with, reposition, or disconnect the screen without prior notice to Local Window
Not display any content on the screen outside of Local Window's managed rotation

3.3 Compensation 

Venue partners receive $200 per month for hosting an active Local Window screen. Payment will be made by the 5th of each month for the prior month. Local Window reserves the right to pause or terminate a venue partnership if advertiser demand does not support continued operation at that location, with 30 days notice.

3.4 Content 

Local Window manages all content displayed on screens. Venue partners agree to our advertiser content guidelines at the time of onboarding. Local Window is solely responsible for ensuring displayed content meets those guidelines.

4. Intellectual Property 

All Local Window branding, website content, and proprietary systems are owned by Local Window. Advertisers retain ownership of their ad creative. By submitting creative to Local Window you grant us a limited license to display that content on our screens for the duration of your paid run.

5. Limitation of Liability 

Local Window is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability to any party shall not exceed the amount paid to us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

6. Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify and hold Local Window harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your ad content, or your violation of these terms.

7. Governing Law 

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

8. Changes to These Terms 

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
